This Policy governs the use of the personal data that you provide to us. Personal data is defined as any or all data relating to a natural person who is identified, or can be identified, from the data.

It is produced in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Data Protection Act [1998 or 2018] and any other national implementing laws regulations and secondary legislation, as amended or updated from time to time in the UK (‘Data Protection Legislation’).

ABOUT US

UK Farmcare Limited (“we”, “us”, “our” and “ours”) is an administration and quality assurance service provider. We are registered in England and Wales as a limited liability company under company number 07548570 and our registered office is 3 Diamond Way, Stone Business Park, Stone, Staffordshire ST15 0SD.

For the purpose Data Protection Legislation and this notice, we are the “data controller”. This means that we are responsible for deciding how we hold and use personal data about you. We are required under the Data Protection Legislation to notify you of the information contained in the privacy notice.

WHAT DATA WE COLLECT

You agree that we are entitled to collect, use and process the information you provide to us to enable us to discharge our services and for other related purposes including :-

  • Updating and enhancing business records
  • Analysis for management purposes
  • Legal and regulatory compliance
  • Crime prevention

If you communicate with us by e-mail we will collect your name and e-mail address and any other content that you send in the body of the email.

We will collect information about you when you fill in any forms on our website i.e. sending an enquiry, signing up for an event signing up for a mailing list, filling in a survey, giving feedback, etc.
If you refuse to provide us with certain information when requested, we may not be able to perform the contract we have entered into with you. Alternatively, we may be unable to comply with our legal or regulatory obligations.

HOW YOUR DATA IS USED

We will process and store your data securely, and we will only keep it for as long as we need it for the purpose(s) for which it was collected.

In relation to the data we do collect, as laid out in the section above, we may use it as follows:

  • Our work for you may require us to pass your information to our third-party service providers, agents, subcontractors and other associated organisations for the purpose of completing tasks and providing the Services to you on our behalf. If you agree, we will also use this information to share updates with you about our services which we believe may be of interest to you.

We will not share your information for marketing purposes with companies so that they may offer you their products and services.

You will not have to pay a fee to access your personal data (or to exercise any of the other rights). However, we may charge a reasonable fee if your request for access is clearly unfounded or excessive. Alternatively, we may refuse to comply with the request in such circumstances.

We may need to request specific information from you to help us confirm your identity and ensure your right to access the information (or to exercise any of your other rights). This is another appropriate security measure to ensure that personal information is not disclosed to any person who has no right to receive it.
We provide contact details at the end of this Policy for you to use if you have any complaint about our processing of your personal data. If you are not satisfied with the way we deal with this issue, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioners Office (ICO), which is the body in charge of supervising personal data use in the UK.

TRANSFERRING PERSONAL DATA OUTSIDE THE EUROPEAN ECONOMIC AREA (EEA).

We will not transfer the personal data we collect about you outside of the EEA.

DATA SECURITY

We have put in place commercially reasonable and appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorised way, altered or disclosed. In addition, we limit access to your personal data to those employees, agents, contractors and other third parties who have a business need to know.
